Vans x Taka Hayashi Velocita Lx
I’ve been wanting these since I saw them during the summer. Been hunting for it when it came out during fall, but never able to find my size without breaking the bank. So once I found this on ebay I bought it on buy it now right away and did not hesitate to make a bid. These are real simple yet classy with luxury premium material and multiple details just exactly how i like my kicks these days. They are vans vault fall 2009 release design by Japanese born Taka Hayashi. His designs are always very intricate and makes it to the next level. The Velocitas are inspired by 1960s Italian leather loafers and Native American handcrafts.
Project White T-Shirt
Project White T-Shirt has worked with 31 designers from 13 countries to transform the classic white t-shirt into something new. The designer can turn the shirt into furniture, equipment, electronics, a bicycle—-anything they want, however they want. They will transform and redefine the definition of the T-shirt as we’ve understood it for so many decades. Participants include Andrea Crews, c.neeon, Complex Geometrics, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Siv Stoldal, Kling by Kling and many more. The t-shirts will be exhibited and then auctioned off with the proceeds going to the Designers Against AIDS foundation.

time for an update
It’s beeen a long while, I miss my blog, but yeh I’ve been busy. I’m just taking a short break from my study to blog this. It’s been like 4 months since i’ve got myself a pair of shoes. one reason is someone around here have fill up my missing parts rather than material objects. My crave for shoes has gone down, but that doesn’t mean I have quit the game, but nothing much have caught my attention these days, and even if it is so, it would still takes me too much effort to cop a pair. I’m getting older and i have alot more to do these days. it would be good to be just like the old days with no worries searching and bidding for shoes all day long. The last time i wanna get a pair, my size was sold out and i have been bum about it. They are the vans taka velocita and nike ac tz. Real simple classy, with premium materials. as you can see my choice in kicks has come to a more earthy and classic feel, how ever they are still sneakers. i have tried wearing boat shoes, loafers, moccasins, and boots, but nothing feels like good ol’sneakers with more sophisticated colorways and materials. im loving this game and im still true to it. Anyway, it was black friday, i didnt wanna get anything cuz eveything in my mind now was to finish my project and finals and have good winter break and sleep in. but i still went out in the evening where most of the sales went down, and found a pair of white vans vault spring 2009 at Barneys NewYork for a descent price. so yeh i can’t pass it. again with simple colorways, premium leather and nubuck..i can kick these in anyday. luv it….back to work you guys….peace out.
